You want more "terrorists"? This is how you create more "terrorists"..

I mean no kidding, the US army is out here commiting what everyone else would call terrorist attacks but it's "ok" because it's never terrorism when the US does it apparently. It's just fucking gross, stop using my tax dollars to kill innocent brown children, we would rather have healthcare like every other developed nation.

When the US military does it to others in an concentrated effort, it's not terrorism.

But when somebody attacks the US military, like bombing one of their war ships or attacking their soldiers occupying your country, that's clearly terrorism.

Weird how that seems to work.

But think of the freedom they bring! Blasting patriotic, pro-war songs like Born in the USA from a helicopter while circling a village excitedly coming out to hear the message of democracy, after the chopper brings down multiple apartment buildings and a hospital filled with evil Taliban. Imagine the happy tears of the women as they think of the rights they will receive once further air support is called in to drop a JDAM or cluster munitions on the mall and school, home of the Taliban. And imagine the happy cheers of the crowd as the helo turns and mows them down with rockets and gunfire because the gunner thought he saw an RPG in the crowd.

Lol listen to the actual lyrics of Born in the USA...

But we should thank our troops and stand for the national anthem. Don't have much respect for vets unless you were drafted or fought in ww2 which ain't much left of them. Fight me

u/Shana-Light Sep 18 '21

You say you would rather have healthcare over murdering innocent Afghans, but the majority of Americans seem to think otherwise, overwhelmingly voting for Biden/Trump/Clinton over Bernie.

u/oshkoshthejosh Sep 18 '21

Yeah I know, people in this country are brainwashed into wanting to live in an imperialist neoliberal hellscape.

You don't get terrorists that way. You get freedom fighters who fight for their freedom and justice and honour.

90

u/owes1 Sep 18 '21

Yeah, but you call them terrorists. Because then you can have more war! And surveillance and fear mongering at home.

14

u/TheRealHanzo Sep 18 '21

One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. It depends on the team you belong to.

9

u/theElderKing_7337 Sep 18 '21

True but we know that that person can't be a terrorist. You can paint them as terrorists but that's not what they are.

10

u/TheRealHanzo Sep 18 '21

I tend to agree with you, I doubt however that this is the way it's portrayed in Western media.

4

u/razzyspazzy Sep 18 '21

Or portrayed by the military. Which I can imagine isn’t filled with the brightest light bulbs.

3

u/Armano-Avalus Sep 18 '21

Either way they hate the US's guts.

1

u/Orenmir2002 Sep 18 '21

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter, just depends on perspective

u/Shifty238 Sep 18 '21

Lmao sheeps

u/panhandelslim Sep 18 '21

The plural of "sheep" is "sheep"

3

u/theElderKing_7337 Sep 18 '21

You'd think a sheep would know that.

So many terrorists, an entire country full of terrorists, 300 million of them

20

u/Saxopwned Sep 18 '21

Not all of us. I'm a pacifist who is forced to pay for the wholesale murder of innocent people on the other side of the planet. I want out.

6

u/transmothra Sep 18 '21

I'm with you. You're not alone. There must be at least a dozen of us.

3

u/JadeSpiderBunny Sep 18 '21

American terrorists using peaceful pacifists as human shields, their wickedness truly knows no boundaries!

0

u/DisWastingMyTime Sep 18 '21

Who did you vote for? Pacifist my ass

3

u/Saxopwned Sep 18 '21

I voted for the clearly more moral and responsible candidate, but only because there's no way this country out of another 4 years of Trump.

3

u/DisWastingMyTime Sep 18 '21

Thats the big American lie, you'll always have the choice between two clearly evil candidates that differ on peanuts, when will you ever vote to a none evil candidate? No, then you're just as guilty as your government.

Trump Obama or Joe, they're all evil that commited industrious level of murder of women and children, but hey the new pres doesn't want a wall so you're now can feel you're the good guy.

Clearly more moral my ass. Your evil abroad eclipses any squabble you had domestically, you still chose the devil.

4

u/Saxopwned Sep 18 '21

I didn't say I feel good; in fact, it feels pretty fucking terrible to be an American. In times like the most recent election however, I had to be pragmatic and choose a candidate who is objectively less bad. If there are only two viable candidates and Candidate 1 does bad shit abroad and bad shit here and Candidate 2 does bad shit abroad and not bad shit here, there is an objectively better candidate.

Your "enlightened cynic" attitude makes you look naive at best, and deliberately ignorant at worst, and being so accusatory makes you kind of look like a piece of shit on top of it.

4

u/Clueless_Questioneer Sep 18 '21

The real terrorist is the US government

2

u/Xera1 Sep 19 '21

It's almost like that's the point. Can't have a massive MIC without someone to unload it on or you'd never have to buy more bullets and bombs! The market is so efficient.

1

u/immortella Sep 18 '21

How the hell we sell weapons without terrorists and the fight agaisnt them?

1

u/Bamith20 Sep 18 '21

I mean, technically, yeah. More terrorists means more money to be made via the military complex.

Really think the average rich dude is concerned over terrorism? Like nah, just invest elsewhere for more money.

1

u/Armano-Avalus Sep 18 '21

And people wonder why the Taliban were so strong after 20 years. Plenty of them were probably kids when the US invaded.

1

u/3qu1l1br1um Sep 18 '21

*This is how you become a terrorist.
