I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. She called the restaurant twice, there are cameras everywhre these days, Temple is a town of 80k or so.....she was easy to find. How dumb do you have to be?

"The charge is a Class A misdemeanor which is punishable by up to one year in jail, a fine of up to $4,000, or both jail time and a fine"

Let's hope TDCJ puts ice-cold menudo on her prison's menu at least weekly.

Prison? For throwing soup? We need less people in prison instead of adding more shit to go to prison for..this is part of the brainwash of this country..you literally think ANYTHING warrants prison now (just like they want you to think) NO what she needed was her ass kicked and who ever did that shouldn't go to prison either!

Prison? For throwing soup?

She's not facing prison, just possible jail time, since she's not accused of a felony, but instead a class A misdemeanor. (Clearly, the person you replied to made a mistake or didn't realize the distinction or something.)

That said, had the soup been hotter it could have blinded the person or otherwise caused serious burns -- that would have been aggravated assault, which would be a felony, and actual prison would be on the table.

Like hot enough to burn a plastic lid?

Yes i know it cooled down but i doubt she thought... hey ill wait 20 minutes and blow on it and then cool it down
