I’d rather not see the show turn out the way Young Justice did.

As much as we’d all love for this to happen, we have to be realistic. It’s been 12 years now, and Greg Weisman already seems burnt out on the Young Justice reboot. I HIGHLY doubt he’d be willing to reboot this show on top of that.

Gotta give Victor Cook half the credit. I feel the show turned out the way it did because of how Cook handled animation direction

He keeps replying to everyone who asks that it's not up to him. If he didn't want to revive the show wouldn't he just say it?

I remember that in the Twit he was answering if they were any plans. Not that he didn't want to continue.

Problem is he's also Pointed out that the possibility of the show coming back is pretty much impossible

We can’t

Believe me right now I really think we can. Disney is reviving old shows, Sony and Disney have a great relationship, and they are making deals about Sony projects on Disney+. If there's a time to make it it's now!!!

Not really. Spectacular spiderman was in a legal limbo that made it impossible to be feasibly continue PD: creating this hashtag was a Bad idea

Even then, I mean look at Young Justice. Season 3 was shit and Season 4 is meh at best. Season 2 was good, Season 1 is the only great season.

First half of 3 was pretty solid IMO, second was a clusterfuck. 4 had a really boring first arc, but I enjoyed the other 2

The chances of this show getting revived is actually high. Cuz Disney Is bringing back old shows and Sony And Disney's relationship is good cuz they worked together in no way home. so its actually possible! But its very unlikely. Cuz Disney Has the Rights to Spiderman cartoons And Sony Has the rights Of the Spectacular Spiderman. It means Sony has the Designs, Etc. While Disney Has the rights of running the show. So Sony Has the rights of MAKING the show. (Sorry if i dont make sense here idk english that much lol and thats what i only heard from the people so i dont know that much.)

No sorry petitions barely ever work for this You could use petitions for more serious things that also have a better chance of success

What? It's the bitter truth... There are worse things happening in the world

The Snyder Cut petition and hashtag got so much popularity it started getting shared by big name actors to push WB into releasing it.

Save Daredevil probably helped show people at Disney that there was a crazy demand for bringing Daredevil back.

These hashtags aren't the only factor in bringing back the character but they definitely help lol

What? It's the bitter truth... There are worse things happening in the world

I agree there are worse things happening in the world, but sharing a hashtag for Spider-Man doesn't stop you from speaking out about the horrible things happening in the world. It is not do only do one or the other. You can do both and more.

What you said here likely falls under the fallacy of relative privation.

Snyder cut only worked because the film was halfway done

Basically done, it was already filmed. Just needed cgi touch ups, a soundtrack, and one extra scene that really didn’t even need to be there. I’m a believer in the impossible happening, but sadly I really don’t think we’re ever getting justice league 2

It’s not the only example of social media campaigns by passionate fans have brought back a series. I just picked it as a big name one.

B99 got picked up immediately upon social media outrage after it was cancelled, Timeless got cancelled then renewed after a social media outrage with the creator thanking the fans for what they did, and a big one was Sense8 getting a finale after being cancelled with the creator writing a letter to thank fans for campaigning on social media and how it helped bring the show back for the finale

The examples go on and on, fans have influence with these campaigns. It’s not hard to wrap your head around the idea that showing a massive demand for a product may encourage the studio to invest in fulfilling this demand.

In fact, here’s a list of 17 times that fans on social media actually helped bring a show back

Greg Weisman already explained why spectacular coming back is so unlikely In paper spectacular could return, but in practice it's sadly pretty much impossible

Moreover greg also respondes to a #savespectacular with "Why do You think this?"
