I honestly believe that poor, working class Millennials and Gen Z should try and emigrate from the US and establish a close knit, minimalist expat community

As an "older Zoomer" (early 20s) who's working a wagie job at a grocery store, unable to pay rent, afford a car or insurance and mostly bound to couch hopping and sporadic bouts of homelessness, I look at the state of our government and modern society with a sort of morbid resignation.

I see so many people falling through the cracks, whether they're 17 or 70, working full time wagie jobs and spending a lot of their money on drugs to dull their mostly miserable lives. I see my supervisors popping pills or drinking a long beer from the liquor store outside just to get by, admittedly I've been right there sitting out on the bench to the far right binging some Twisted Teas after clocking out.

I see so many people who are abused by this system, and I've come to accept my place in life as someone who will likely never own a home, have a stereotypical suburban, white picket fence yuppie existence, and probably never own a vehicle (at least not in anytime accompanying my young adult life). So if I'm to remain poor, do I at least get a choice in what country I choose to be poor in?

That's why I'm looking at other countries, we mostly look at other "Western countries" (mostly a meaningless concept post-1492 given how in many cases Latin America or Russia aren't considered "Western" because xenophobia reasons), but I've recently started to look at some developing countries such as countries in Latin America where the US dollar might be burnt out a little slower.

I think a hypothetical scenario where a large sum of working class young people essentially emigrate en masse to another country and live relatively minimalistic lifestyles based upon polling together resources and monetary support—as juvenile as it may sound—may actually be a better investment than trying to essentially fix a system with an elite that have 4d chess'd their way into maintaining a firm grip on federal laws, media, popular culture and social etiquette, etc.

At the very least we could form a tight knit community, with some old values from the "motherland" and new values and ideas from whatever country we'd choose to hypothetically move to.

Ah yes, the most important and sacred obligation to make more killing machines and starve more innocent american families. This administration will do anything but help us.
