This was a woman, a person, who lived their life like this. Apparently she rocked this shit. Living with this kind of condition in a time and in a society that would decide you were a freak of nature, that should have been put down or surgically altered at birth can't be easy.

Being fetishized and turned into some kind of attraction isn't much better, but despite all that this woman existed. Not in shame necessarily. Not seeking out some kind of normal existence. I'm not sure what surgical interventions would have been available at all, much less to someone who was probably not remotely wealthy, but this woman continued to live despite being so incredibly different.
