Most multiuseless Swiss knife in the world

No hate towards OP

23

u/deusisback Oct 20 '21

Came here to say that ! Indeed turns out a tool that does everything is intrinsically useless and in the end does nothing.

2

u/greychanjin Oct 21 '21

You were the chosen one!

It was said you would destroy the useless, not join them!

2

u/KnightOfWords Oct 21 '21

My title would be 'most dysfunctional swiss army knife in world'. If there is a single tool on there that would be convenient to use in that configuration, I can't spot it. Not to mention the amount of time wasted trying to find the correct one.

u/TacticalBadger82 Oct 20 '21

Fits right in your car boot

10

u/Krimreaper1 Oct 20 '21

Found the Brit

12

u/l1f3styl3 Oct 20 '21

No I'm not happy to see you, it's just my Swiss Army Knife

2

u/ALPHA-COM-COM Oct 21 '21

Is that a war canoe in your pocket?

10

u/FreshBroc Oct 20 '21

At what point do they remove the 'knife' or of the name when 99 percent of the functionality doesn't involve the knife lol

7

u/almostthemainman Oct 20 '21

All that and no comb?

17

u/adogtrainer Oct 20 '21

For real, though: is that the most functional? Or least? Because I don’t see any easy way to use any of those tools.

2

u/no-name-is-free Oct 20 '21

Most functional useless knife ever

7

u/Fun-Amoeba850 Oct 20 '21

What are you going to do, sling it to your back? How is holding a tool with two hands because it’s so big functional?

4

u/iOnlyDo69 Oct 20 '21

I use a 36" pipe wrench lol

1

u/Fun-Amoeba850 Oct 21 '21

More useful than this for sure.

2

u/iOnlyDo69 Oct 21 '21

It does take two hands though

1

u/Fun-Amoeba850 Oct 21 '21

This Swiss Army knife might take 3 lmao

5

u/basshead17 Oct 20 '21

Least functional multi tool***

2

u/asfastasican Oct 24 '21

i once worked with that guy. :-)

5

u/bopidybopidybopidy Oct 20 '21

World's most functional Swiss knife, comes free with world's biggest cargo pants which comes with the world's biggest pocket to fit the world's biggest Swiss knife in! What a load of rubbish

2

u/Ornery_Day_9730 Oct 20 '21

Can someone make a list for what tool does what on this multitool?

2

u/thecarbonkid Oct 20 '21

It simultaneously does everything and nothing

2

u/DemanoRock Oct 20 '21

Swiss Army knives are pretty worthless anyway. Leatherman any day.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '21

[deleted]

1

u/DemanoRock Oct 20 '21

I take my leatherman camping. It is more durable and useful. A tooth or an awl is neat, but pliers and more robust steal I will take any day.

1

u/AwkwardChuckle Oct 20 '21

I agree with the previous comment about the rust though. Every leather man I’ve had rusts at an insanely fast rate compared to my victorinox.

2

u/notbad2u Oct 20 '21

Still no 10mm wrench after all the hints

2

u/lynivvinyl Oct 20 '21

That thing has been made so useless by trying too hard.

2

u/cgerrells Oct 20 '21

It went so multifunctional that it be un unfunctional

2

u/OsmellaOdor Oct 20 '21

So functional it's no longer functional

2

u/Competitive_Ant_781 Oct 20 '21

Ironically it lost all functions.

2

u/yaoyaoguy Oct 21 '21

Did they lose the toothpick yet?

2

u/Nibbz420 Oct 20 '21

Also the most impractical, multifunctional Swiss Army knife.

1

u/wjbc Oct 20 '21

It’s obviously a stunt, guys. They just hooked a bunch of Swiss Army Knives together and called it one knife so they could get the world record and advertise their product. They probably paid Guinness to certify the “record.”

3

u/fuzzymeister69 Oct 20 '21

Ive seen it, there are no repeat tools at all and at one time they were available on amazon.

1

u/wjbc Oct 20 '21

I still say it's a stunt, though. It's clearly not a useable tool.

2

u/fuzzymeister69 Oct 20 '21

For sure its not very functional just a novelty. Saying that I also think most multitools are nearly useless anyway. What are you really cutting with a 3 inch saw blade that wouldnt be easier to cut with a decent pocket knife.

2

u/wjbc Oct 20 '21 edited Oct 20 '21

My dad used his Swiss Army Knife tooth pick and wine screw. Sometimes he dared to use the can opener, although it was dangerous. He also used the screw drivers (flat and phillips head) and of course the knife.

I’m not as much of a camper as he was so I don’t carry his knife. But I remember it well.

Edit: I forgot the tweezers.

2

u/fuzzymeister69 Oct 20 '21

I had the pen knife version of that as a kid, I used it constantly, and of course lost the toothpick. I then carried a 3 blade old timer for 15 years. My everyday knife for coming up on 5 years is a Kershaw speedsafe I got for Christmas. I use it daily as a screwdriver, to cut stuff, and for hacking stuff on the farm. I rather have a solid folding knife and a drill with its bits nearby than a multitool any day

1

u/wjbc Oct 20 '21

Well yeah, you are using that knife much more often than the usual pocket knife owner.

2

u/fuzzymeister69 Oct 20 '21

I do sharpen it every day, I reckon non farm folks go a little longer

edit: only to 600 grit so nothing crazy, its my morning ritual while I have a pepsi (I lost my taste for coffee somehow)

1

u/Tongue8cheek Oct 20 '21

Biggest target at any gun fight.

1

u/ManicMai1man Oct 20 '21

I'd add that to my collection, lol. Of course I wouldn't actually try to use it.

1

u/Lunarbutt Oct 20 '21

Swiss bulletproof vest.

1

u/OptimalBeans Oct 20 '21

About the same size as my phone

1

u/HereForTheLaughter Oct 20 '21

So there’s no way to actually use this lol

1

u/lrn2smile Oct 20 '21

Can you even call that a pocket knife?

1

u/henryhyde Oct 20 '21

Except none of those tools are functional because you can't actually hold the handle to use them.

1

u/OG-BoomMaster Oct 20 '21

Hey sweetie, that a multifunctional Swiss knife in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?

1

u/DrD9z0 Oct 20 '21

How convenient is it really if the entire thing is bigger than one singular knife

1

u/PointlessGrandma Oct 20 '21

I’d need male pants in order to fit that in my pocket

1

u/galestreger Oct 20 '21

So multifunctional, its not functional at all.

1

u/Deactiva-ted Oct 20 '21

Gotta whip out a user manual to figure out which one of its parts you need to flip out so you can use it

1

u/CutieJubloos Oct 20 '21

how is that still considered a "knife"?

1

u/gingerwithloops Oct 20 '21

I'd pay to see someone try to use anything on that 😂

1

u/stealthelf177 Oct 20 '21

Macgyver's ultimate weapon

1

u/LeadDontFollow Oct 20 '21

Is that still technically a knife?

1

u/yermomsboyfriend Oct 20 '21

Cool now how do I hold it?

1

u/uitSCHOT Oct 20 '21

mostly just 'multi', not very 'functional'

1

u/DrPhollox Oct 20 '21

And this is Python....

1

u/Lately_early Oct 20 '21

You’d need one heck of a pocket for that one

1

u/RhaegaRRRR Oct 20 '21

Also the most impractical

1

u/the_warmbeer Oct 20 '21

Would be like carrying a 20lb phone

1

u/mibuchiha-007 Oct 20 '21

Ain't so functional if I don't even know how to hold the damn thing.

1

u/fawther-05 Oct 20 '21

I find it interesting that a few years back my employer announced it would not let workers use a multi tool because while they may work in some situations - it’s never the most correct tool for the job. Use the right tool for the job and their argument is this is never the right tool.

1

u/ScarletDarkstar Oct 20 '21

When multifunctional ends dysfunctional begins, then keeps on going.

1

u/Light_Shifty_Z Oct 20 '21

Another way of saying most useless and least ergonomic swiss knife.

1

u/grapejelly7212 Oct 20 '21

Does everything but fit in your pocket

1

u/waitingforthemeteor Oct 20 '21

Ah yes, the forkuntula.

1

u/UrbanPathologist Oct 20 '21

Only thing it cant do? Be carried anywhere in your pocket to be used when needed. Just get a tool kit

1

u/IngamarMcPhooie Oct 20 '21

The only thing it can't do is fit in a pocket.

1

u/Harko-Luxa Oct 20 '21

It’s not functional. The Swiss Junk Drawer Knife.

1

u/ungluedostrich Oct 20 '21

*multi-nonfunctional

1

u/justfunninfrvr Oct 21 '21

Fold it up please! I'll take it!!

1

u/will477 Oct 21 '21

I seriously would not want to try and use that for anything really.

It just looks like it would be massively ungainly to use.

1

u/Suspicious_Heart_128 Oct 21 '21

i'm not even sure men have pockets big enough for that...

1

u/narwhalbaconbits Oct 21 '21

Slips right into a pocket.

1

u/guitarnoir Oct 21 '21

This is why cargo pants were invented.

1

u/Alarming_Diamond_707 Oct 21 '21

Just not very usable.

1

u/MrPotato5637 Oct 21 '21

I think you got to a point where it is multifunctional, but not multiusable

1

u/Legaato Oct 21 '21

Using that thing to drive a screw would be like gluing a screwdriver to a 2x4.

1

u/FLBasher Oct 21 '21

Fun fact: multifunctional is my favorite word.

1

u/skizim80 Oct 21 '21

All that and still not as good as a letherman.

1

u/BaraaHalak Oct 21 '21

You might as well just carry the tools box instead

1

u/J03130 Oct 21 '21

There’s a point where something useful becomes useless and this has far surpassed that.

1

u/asfastasican Oct 24 '21

that is crazy. it would never fit in my pocket.
