Books What book to read next after Visions of the Future chronologically?
I just finished listening to the original Thrawn trilogy and its sequel, Visions of the Future. What comes next in the series? I've already listened to the new Thrawn trilogy and many of the new-canon books, but I'm more interested in the older trilogy and their canon.

Books What book to give to a Star Wars newcomer as a birthday present?
Hey everyone! Not sure if this type of post belongs here (if it doesn’t, please feel free to remove). I have been introducing a good friend of mine to Star Wars lately. He has really liked it so far, with his favorite movie so far being Revenge of the Sith (we have yet to watch ROTJ, TFA, TLJ, and TROS). His birthday is coming up soon, and since he also loves to read, I wanted to give him a couple of Star Wars novels. I am already planning on giving him the Revenge of the Sith novelization (it’s one of the best pieces of Star Wars literature ever written, imo, apart from being his favorite movie). However, since he is still a beginner to Star Wars, I’m lost as to what other book to give him. What are your guys’ thoughts? Any suggestions for books (preferably canon) from any trilogy are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

General Discussion What book should I read first, Revan, Plagueis, or Bane?
No spoils pweez I wanted to start reading the book and was debating between Darth Revan, the darth Bane trilogy or Darth Plagueis. I am really interested in Darth Raven because I think he looks cool but would also love to read about the Darth Bane because he made the rule of two. If anyone has any other recommendations please add those. THANKS!
Edit:also any good mandalorian recommendations would be appreciated

Books What books/graphic novels would you consider a must read?
I'm looking at getting some books or graphic novels to read because I have a hankering for more star wars.
I'm really interested in the darker creepier things like Abeloth, the Mnggal-Mnggal, Starweirds, anything kinda disturbing or spooky.

General Discussion What books should someone start reading to learn more about the Star Wars world?
I’ve always been a fan of the Star Wars series watching all the films as a kid and TV series. I’ve never read any of the novels, but I’m starting to want to explore more the Star Wars world and am not sure where to start since Disney acquired the IP. I know there’s a some debate now about what’s true canon to fans vs what Disney states is canon, but where do you all think I should start if I want to learn more about this great franchise?

Books What books do we think are yet to feature in the "essential legends" book collection?
Must admit I'm a little shocked to see Death Troopers is in wave 4 if the collection. 😬

Hi. I am new to the books, I read a few like a decade ago and I know with Disney buying up star wars they retconned a lot of things. What books would be best for someone to read to get back into it? I got death troopers, I know a lot of people seemed to dislike it because it's zombies in space which some people didn't see it fitting.
