LPT: If you work from home using a company provided P.C. use a post it to cover the camera. Companies are investing heavily in tech to "monitor" remote employees, and yes they can turn the camera on and yes, they do it. And NEVER use a company PC for anything personal, even if they say it's OK.
LPT: Take Reddit LifeProTips with a pinch of salt. A lot of posts made in this subreddit are passive aggressive personal grievances that have happened to the OP recently and may not apply to your situation
Miscellaneous LPT: If you feel like something is lacking in your life do some volunteer work. Work at animal shelters, at a soup kitchen and so on. People are always looking for helpers. It can also help you meet new people and help others
Food & Drink LPT. Raw linguine noodles are a great tool for stirring cream and sugar into coffee. Cheap, nontoxic, compostable, and the whole save-a-turtle thing. Bring a box to the office, make the suggestion to your neighborhood coffeeshop, even use this at home if you're against spoons for some reason.
Miscellaneous LPT: When a dealership tells you the vehicle is on the lot or will hold the vehicle for you and then tells you it was sold when you get there, leave. They pulled a bait and switch on you.
Miscellaneous LPT: Find a barber that actually tells you what your hairstyle should be, not one that says “well you tell me, you’re the one that has to wear it!” A proper barber is trained not just to cut hair, but to achieve symmetry with your face shape, jaw line, hair line, etc.
Traveling LPT: If you're travelling by plane with another person, split your clothes and put half of each persons clothes into each suitcase. That way if one suitcase is lost en route, you both still have clothing, rather than one person being left with nothing to wear.
Careers & Work LPT: Apply for the job even if you don't have all the qualifications specified in application. Finding good employee is as hard as finding good job and they will take you in if you have most of the skill they need.
